PROJECT SENTINEL FAIR HOUSING DIRECTOR Job Description Since 1971, Project Sentinel, a non-profit agency has advanced equal opportunities to attain and maintain housing by counseling, investigating complaints of housing discrimination, bringing enforcement actions in court and before administrative agencies, conducting outreach and engaging in a wide variety of community advocacy. Project Sentinel currently makes its services available free of charge to the 8 million residents of seven diverse Bay Area counties: Alameda, Merced, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Stanislaus. Project Sentinel has maintained one of the largest and most effective fair housing programs on the west coast for more than 40 years.
