Vermont Legal Aid is reopening the search for a full-time Disability Law Attorney to work in the southern part of the state. The position is remote, until VLA changes its remote work policy later this spring or summer, after which it will be based out of either our Rutland or Springfield Offices. Responsibilities include individual and systems advocacy in a variety of forums on behalf of persons with disabilities. Case work is primarily in the area of disability-based discrimination, special education, government benefit programs, guardianship, and other areas concerning individual rights. Attorney applicants must be licensed to practice law in Vermont or eligible for admission by waiver. In-state travel in a personal vehicle required.
