We run fun, safe, and sustainable trekking experiences through the Western Highlands of Guatemala. 100% of our profits directly fund the projects of Asociación Escuela de la Calle (EDELAC): providing education, housing, and social support to the disadvantaged indigenous children in the Xela area. EDELAC currently operates a primary school as well as a children’s safe home. Since 1995, we have worked to spread awareness of Mayan culture while raising more than $3 million USD to directly support the local communities through which we hike. We are looking to hire an operations coordinator to run our office in Xela. This person will directly manage our relationships with the EDELAC Primary School and our broader community while supporting our guides in the field.
