About the Job Full-time faculty for the Master of Arts in Counseling Program (M.A. Counseling) are highly qualified professionals with an earned doctorate in counselor education from a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs, (CACREP)-accredited program, or have a related doctoral degree and have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013. Full-time faculty also have full licensure in their respective state. Licensure as a marriage and family therapist, substance abuse counselor, or a school counselor preferred. Faculty integrate their Christian faith in the classroom to disciple the next generation of leaders in professional counseling.
