Position Concept Responsible for the daily operating functions of processing payroll for multi-state worksites. Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the full life cycle of payroll activities. Achieving and maintaining quality payroll by completing and dispersing job aids to the employees of the organization. Ensure compliance with all established guidelines, and maintain complete confidentiality of all data. Essential Functions Process weekly, biweekly and semimonthly payroll. Audit time cards to verify hours worked and program approval to include follow-up when needed. Research and investigate payroll discrepancies and payroll issues to include unemployment claims. Provides information, assistance and/or training to all new employees; provides technical/procedural assistance; trains team on payroll policies/procedures.
