ACE EPIC USFS (CA): Tahoe National Forest, Survey Technician - Forestry Summary: American Conservation Experience, a nonprofit Conservation Corps, in partnership with the Tahoe National Forest is seeking two Survey Technicians. This opportunity is intended for enthusiastic professionals, with a deep interest in advancing their career goals in natural resource management and conservation. The member will support the Forestry team, while focusing on cadastral survey work. The work is physically demanding and involves hiking in steep terrain at high altitudes (3,000 to 9000 ft.) on a daily basis, commonly during extreme or inclement weather conditions such as snow or rain or high wind events. Candidates will need to bring their own gear for such conditions. The position will require working in remote locations on National Forest land, and some camping may be required to accomplish project goals.
