Seaport Academy is a small, alternative school for young men in grades 8-12.  We serve students who have not achieved their educational goals in a traditional school setting and provide a unique program, where learning is experiential and filled with adventure. This is a 10 month, school-based position reporting to the Clinical Director. Seaport is seeking a full-time Mental Health Counselor or LCSW/LICSW who has clinical experience with adolescents in community, residential, or other supportive clinical settings. Strong preference for clinicians well-versed in understanding and working with young people impacted by trauma (and multi-systemic oppression). Clinicians will hold individual caseloads, lead group counseling, run morning check-in groups, and run elective activities of interest. Individual and group supervision provided weekly.

This position will be supervised by CONNECT but will work closely with other members of the Good Jobs Coalition, especially La Colaborativa. This position will be largely remote and offers flexible hours. We are open to someone who has a fulltime or part-time position elsewhere but wants to work with us as well, so long as they are able to make calls to potential employers during times when those employers are available.
