Am Kolel, a Jewish Renewal community in the D.C. area, is seeking a Managing Director to manage its operational activities. Am Kolel, founded in 1990 as an inclusive Jewish community, sponsors a Shabbat Havurah, a Jewish retreat center, and a Judaic Resource Center. We are known for our spiritual openness, community-wide programs, and our engagement in Tikkun Olam and building bridges with others. Management responsibilities include: (1) assuring sound fiscal management, (2) managing communications within the organization and to the public, (3) providing administrative support for all our branches and committees, (4) arranging for maintenance needs of our retreat center, including bookings/rentals of our retreat center and (5) supervision of paid staff, vendors and volunteers as necessary.
